The Club of Engineers and Friends is a Germany based non-profit association, who "use our knowledge and connections to contribute to a fairer distribution of resources and opportunities on our globe".

Once the Prototype Floating House was complete we began the next stage of work, envisioning Bihar's first floating village. Now we are working to widen our response to the diverse impacts of climate chaos, by designing models of housing and ways of living that don't just float, but that are "climate-resilient."

This has brought us to the current stage and name for this work: The Climate-Resilient Village Project.

ORIGINS:
The Resilient Floating House Project

began in 2019 in response to disastrous flooding made worse each following year by global climate change.
Or as we experience it, climate chaos.
