This project has been supported by our partners: Koen Olthuis and his team at Waterstudio; Andreas Müller-Hermann, Founding Director of the Meaalofa Foundation; Sebastian Daeschle of the Club of Engineers and Friends; and other community supporters around the world.
Waterstudio is a Netherlands-based architectural firm founded and directed by Koen Olthuis that is a world leader in innovative, sustainable, flexible floating projects, designed to provide solutions to global climate change.

The Meaalofa Foundation is a Germany-based collective that works across Europe to offer support and solidarity in areas of migration, social wellbeing and the environment.
The Club of Engineers and Friends is a Germany based non-profit association, who "use our knowledge and connections to contribute to a fairer distribution of resources and opportunities on our globe".
Once the Prototype Floating House was complete we began the next stage of work, envisioning Bihar's first floating village. Now we are working to widen our response to the diverse impacts of climate chaos, by designing models of housing and ways of living that don't just float, but that are "climate-resilient."

This has brought us to the current stage and name for this work: The Climate-Resilient Village Project.
